I decided to make a thread dedicated to this situation right here: http://boards.ign.com/nintendo_wii_lobby/b8270/189720568/p1/?22

Here are the ground rules of this discussion:

1. You are not allow to use this to hate on Nintendo or praise Nintendo as if they were God. That means you cannot make this as an excuse to rant on how awful Nintendo is and how they have 100% factually abandon the core gamers. You may also not call people crazy for saying Nintendo has neglected there core gamers and you may not say Nintendo is the greatest thing ever created or something along those lines.

2. Explain why you think why you came to your conclusion. This isn't something I'll report on or anything, but I strongly suggest more then an yes or no answer. Give your reasons why you came to your conclusion and make it worth reading (Even people who tend to usually make one or few-words posts).

3. Absolutely no flame wars. Flame wars are massive and very common, and they usually take forever to get resolved. All name-calling, threats, messages mean to hurt other people, or others like that is unacceptable. Now don't get me wrong, I highly encourage debating with each other when done smoothly and with an apporite manner. I just don't want to see any flame wars here.

4. Read the posts completely before even considering replying. Make sure to read it completley once before reasponding. This will help keep things smooth.

5. Before debating the situation with anyone who posted here, give your thoughts out first. You can even reply to the same person who you want to reply to, as long as your thoughts on the situation comes first. This isn't something you'll get reported over if you break it, just an recommendation.

This is my post on IGN regarding the situation:

"Now the the posts are starting to pour in, I'm going to give my thoughts on the situation.

For the few people who were wondering, yes, I was that first preson who voted "Yes, to an certain degree". However, let me explain myself.

I voted "Yes, to an certain degree" because it really depends what area Nintendo has really been neglecting. In general, they have done an excellent job this generation with great games, great market stragedy, and made two unique consoles this generation, the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, both great systems, although I prefer the Wii since I am losing interest in the handheld market. Thus, they deserve lots of credits and respects this generation. And just to add something nice, the Nintendo Wii improved from the Nintendo Gamecube, which I consider to be Nintendo's worst home console.

That's not to say that Nintendo is perfect and is an almighty god we should bow down to. They certantly have some flaws that no Nintendo fan that isn't an deliusional fanboy can denide.

First off, they do not have the best marketing stragedy for core games. Very rarely do I see an adversitment for an Wii game nowadays (But that's also link to the fact that I don't watch TV much) and most third-party core games underperform due to that. The fact that Excitebots: Trick Racing sold only 140,000 is saddening, as I love the game and believe it's highly underrated.

Another problem with Nintendo is how they treat some of there franchises. Pokemon haven't received an great console installment since Pokemon Stadium 2. Nintendo has also failed to give the Earthbound franchise a chance to suceed outside of Japan, we're even left in the dark if Earthbound itself will be on the Virtual Console outside of Japan. Kirby hasn't been that good in the console area either since 2001. And they are well known for milking the living **** out of Pokemon, which resulted in me and numerous other people who grew up with the first generation to lose interest in future installments after the 2nd or even 3rd generations.

And the Virtual Console, while that is great for the most part, they have failed miserably in the Nintendo 64 category, which is my favorite video game system. Having just seventeen games, all first or second-party games, on the Virtual Console for that system is disheartening, and is the main reason why I'm getting another Nintendo 64.

However, despite the big words I put into them, overall, Nintendo has done very well this generation. Nevertheless, I say they have neglected there core gamers, but only mildly."Super Smash Bros. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855142977915849741.post-44655992879353708722010-02-24T22:02:00.000-06:002010-02-24T22:02:48.783-06:00I am so going to be broke this year.Even when I get a job, I might still be out of spending money quickly. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855142977915849741.post-23983049152176142892010-02-12T22:57:00.001-06:002010-02-14T13:14:40.497-06:00My love for the Nintendo 64.You all know how much I love Nintendo. I believe that they are one of the most innovative, selfless, caring, and dedicated companies of all-time, which has been the case for the NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, and even the Nintendo Wii. They are currently my favorite video game company right this moment.

But there's something special about the Nintendo 64, something that I have an special attraction for, something that makes it my favorite system out of the bunch. What could those things be? Well, let's dive in into why the Nintendo 64 is my favorite video game system so far.

Back in Christmas of 1999, I wasn't sure what video game was. I was five back then (Currently fifteen), so I had very little memories of things before (The only major exception being the wedding of my mom and stepdad). Now on that day, I got an Nintendo 64 and Super Mario 64. That game and especially that console would go on to be a revolution that has permanently influenced gaming as we know it. Full 3D gaming was born.

I had a ton of games for the system. Along with Super Mario 64, I also had these games:
-Banjo-Kazooie
- Banjo-Tootie
-Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
-BattleTanx: Global Assault
-Space Station: Silicon Valley
-Lego Racer
-Super Smash Bros.
-Mario Party
-Donkey Kong 64
-NBA Hangtime
-Pokemon Stadium
-Re-Volt
-Namco Musume 64
-A baseball game
-A Madden game
- A F1 game

That's a lot of games. All except the last three were amazing games that I will forever remember in my heart. These games basically made up my childhood. They were the reason why I play video games today. This was an perfect start to gaming in my opinion, because I also had access to the NES and SNES at the time, but I spent most of my time on the Nintendo 64. Heck, when my Playstation 2 died in 2005, we used an Nintendo 64 as an replacement. Once again, I remember those memories of the console and all the fantastic games. Once I got a Gamecube, I sent it back to my dad's house (I live with my grandparents).

Sadly, that turned out to be the biggest mistake I've ever made in gaming. On November, 2007, my Nintendo 64 died on me. I said it was okay to my dad, but in reality, I was devastated. My favorite console was gone forever and so was the games. I even mistakingly passed up an wonderful oppertunity at Spring Break of 2008. To make things worse, most of the games I grew up with would never come to the Virtual Console, due to licensing issues. I really cannot bear not having a Nintendo 64 any longer.

This is what I'm planning to do. I am going to get a job at Albertson and work for an Nintendo 64. Then I'll start collecting games for the console so I can relive memories of the system.

But regardless, the Nintendo 64 will forever live in my heart and so will the memories. Long live the N64!
If you live in Japan, don't worry, you're probably going to get the game regardless. But sadly, I cannot speak for the PAL region. Even if Japan and North America sees this, a European and/or Australian release is not guaranteen. Tecmo Bowl anyone?

You are all aware that Earthbound has formed one of the biggest video game cults in history. As expected, this was one of the most requested games on the Virtual Console. However, on February 16, 2009, fans like me were up for an rude awakening when we heard that Earthbound might not be coming to the Virtual Console, due to potential legal issues. As a result, people gave up all hopes for anymore exposure of the franchise, be it new installments, remakes, complimations, or even Virtual Console releases. However, instead of following the crowd, I decided to give my spin on the situation. I'll give out my opinion if we'll see the game on the Virtual Console.

A Virtual Console release is not as unlikely as you think it is if my theory turns out to be correct.

When it comes to discussing if that particular game will be made available on the Virtual Console, no game has been more controversial then Earthbound. Take a look at the Virtual Console section of the Nintendo Life Forums and you'll find numerous arguements regarding the game VC release.

Okay, let's get on with the facts first.

1. Earthbound is rumored to be under legal issues. This can (Not will, but it can) prevent an Virtual Console release, and I can no longer denide that if true.

2. Nintendo has not confirmed Starmen's source. Right now, we should leave the source as unconfirmed, because Starmen.net, while is an huge Earthbound site, is not official news site for Earthbound-related games on Nintendo's consoles. Therefore, they are not entirely creidable in that section.

3. The game has an ESRB rating. Sure it's been there since May, 2008, but it's still there. Check out the webiste and type in "Earthbound" and you'll find an ESRB rating for the Wii, suggesting that Nintendo might be using it for an Virtual Console release (Most likely since the franchise is dead).

4. This is one of the most requested games on the Virtual Console. This has been the case since it's announcement at E3 2005, which brings me too...

5. It was announced at E3 2005. Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo announced at Nintendo's E3 2005 that Earthbound, along with Punch-Out!, Excitebike, and another title (Can't remember) would be released on the Virtual Console.

6. All three Super Smash Bros. games featured Ness as a playable character. Ness is an vetern character in the series and has grew in popularity as the series continued. All of the original characters except Ness at least gotten a game with an Virtual Console release, so they probably want to put Ness on the spotlight on the Virtual Console too now that they got the other series covered.

7. Super Smash Bros. is available on all region on the Virtual Console. This is an crucial evidence here. Ness is an unlockable character here, so this is an perfect oppertunity to get people to familize with him if they haven't already and this could increase demand for Earthbound to be put on the Virtual Console.

8. The game is very expensive. Most copies are more then what you see on an Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games and that's quite sad. Luckily, Virtual Console has been proven an efficent way to bring down cost of previously expensive games (See Bubble Bobble) or at least gave them an cheap option to experience the game previously mostly unaffordable (M.U.S.H.A. for example). The longer the game goes without an Virtual Console release, the the more expensive the game will get. Releasing the game on the Virtual Console would really help bring down the cost and give us an cheaper solution to finally experience the game.

9. The franchise is owned by Nintendo. Do I need to say more?

Nine facts that we all need to know that could be related to a Virtual Console release. Now what is my opinion on the situation? You might be surprised to here this, but I actually think the game has a good chance of being released, providing that unsolved legal issues doesn't get confirmed by Nintendo. Now legal issues would (Not will, would) prevent a Virtual Console release, but we don't know that right? All but the first fact leads me to my general conclusion. As a matter of fact, I think if Nintendo pulls the right strings, we could see the game in the latter half of 2010. And also, because I have no plans to give up hope on an Virtual Console release of this game. As a matter of fact, I think I have an interesting theory. Take a good read at this.

Like I said before, there has been rumors of legal issues. Even if this is true, it's not like Nintendo didn't know of it just yesterday. They probably did a lot of research regarding potential legal issues and as you might expect, they got a ton of them. However, for all we know, they might not have done this shortly before we heard the news about the game not coming to the Virtual Console. They could have done this shortly after Nintendo came up with the idea of the Virtual Console. Knowing this, they could have asked Nintendo of Japan to change the music, but they rejected the request sent by NOA. And even before E3 2005, Nintendo of America would have decided to start fixing the legal issues. They could have discussed this with Nintendo of Japan and they would have given them the OK to start fixing them and release the game unaltered. In return, Nintendo of Japan announced Earthbound for the Virtual Console at E3 2005. Fixing the legal issues like this probably took a couple years or so to do, if not more. If they did start shortly before E3 2005, then they should have fixed it sometimes in late 2007/early 2008. Then they went to the ESRB to approve it and they did, thus we have an ESRB rating for the game. Then for some oddball reason, someone at Nintendo of America wanted the version to more resemble the original Japanese version or add something like multiple lanugages in the game, so NOA might have approved it and maybe that's why a release is taking like forever to happen here. Then some dedicated member from Starmen.net on February 15th, 2009 dedcided to search for news relating to Earthbound and he found that Nintendo of America were trying to change music, of NOJ denide their request. As a result, he got devastated and decided to tell Starmen.net about it, thus giving us a rumor about the game not ever coming to the Virtual Console.

These are the squares that Earthbound might be in. Which square do you think they're in?

Square 0: The game is never coming to the Virtual Console, no matter how many people want it.

Square 1: The game can be made available on the Virtual Console, but it's going to be difficult to do, due to legal issues, and the ESRB rating doesn't mean anything.

Square 2: The ESRB rating does help and it will likely be made available on the Virtual Console, but the game might have legal issues.

Square 3: The game will be made available on the Virtual Console, above should explain why the game is taking so long to get released.

According to this, I believe Earthbound is under Square 2. It can move either way.

The theory is just my opinion, nothing more. We don't really know if the game is coming or not, all we can do is speculate until (A: We heard from Nintendo that it's not coming or (B: The game gets an Virtual Console release.

Will we ever see Earthbound again?

The Earthbound/Mother fanbase has been met with nothing but massive disappointments for the past decade. Nintendo ignored the petition for an Mother release on the Game Boy Color, Earthbound 64 was cancelled (Which eventually turned into Mother 3), we didn't receive the Mother+Mother 2 complimation, and we will most likely never see Mother 3 and more disappointments. I really can't imagine how the fanbase didn't give up already and move on, no offense. However, Earthbound, if released on the Virtual Console, can be a turning point for the franchise and people should finally be able to recognize why this game is so well beloved by it's fans.
Super Smash Bros.
It's true. Just two days ago, High Voltage Software confirmed that The Grinder will no longer be an Wii exclusive, but will also be available on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. As a Wii-only owner, you would think that I would go apeshit over this announcement and declare High Voltage Software as an evil overlord who betrayed the Wii. But no, I'm smarter then that. Here is my opinion on The Grinder going multiplatform: http://the-grinder.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/2037514-my-opinion-on-the-grinder-going-multiplatform-and-an-plea-for-the-company-

Here's a summary, I am a little disappointed by HVS's decision to go multiplatform, but that doesn't really affect me, although it really does suck that we have to wait until October, 2011 to see it. See, I have been highly anticapating this game since it was announced with Wii Speak and Wii MotionPlus, proving that High Voltage Software wants this game to suceed on the Wii. The fact that it's going multiplatform will likely not change HVS's views on that. The only thing I wish for the company to do is make all four versions equal to each other. That's it, no more and no less then that. Even if the Wii version does fall behind, I'll be getting it for the PS3, since I'll have a PS3 by 2011. See, I'm getting the game regardless, so I'll be following further news regarding it.

But most of The Grinder fanbase refuse to accept the game going to new platforms. And as a result, they went crazy over it. Most of them are worried about the Wii version getting dumbed down (Which is understandable, but they are still taking that too far), but some of them got so furious that they gave HVS the middle finger, said "f*** you" to them, and because of this, there has been massive flame wars regarding the news.

To all who panic about the situation like it's the end of the world. Are you that insane and shallow? Do you really think a company that has sacerficed a lot to make great core games to us deserve to die? Is it really apporite to have all of these flame wars going on over one freakin' announcement? If so, then that's really patethic. There is absolutely no reason why all of this had to start. High Voltage Software is probably pissed at your behavior towards them, knowing that YOU betrayed them when you said you would never play a game from them because of the game going multiplatform.

And folks, this isn't the first time this has happen this generation when console fanboys put up a fit over a game that's coming to another system, yet is still going to be available in their system as well. This has happen to the Sony fanbase a few times and Microsoft fanbase is also guilty of this at least once. This is the first time Wii fanboys actually went crazy over an game going to another system, while still being on the Wii. And so, I congrat The Grinder Wii fanboys for making the rest of the fanbase look bad (Sarcasm).

This isn't the first time a former Wii exclusive was made available on the PS3 and 360. Take No More Heroes as an example. In January, 2008 (December, 2007 in Japan), the game was made availabe in North America as a Wii exclusive. It got good reviews and sold decently on the system. But against Suda 51 wish, Marvelous and Ubisoft are porting this to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. That might be worth getting angry over, but guess what? The No More Heroes fanbase didn't go crazy. They knew that the sequel would remain an Wii exclusive, so they realize that going crazy over the first game getting the multiplatform treatment would do nothing more then make themself look like asshole with no life. Reacting calmly to the situation is how The Grinder fanbase should have done.

Sadly, it didn't work that way. They made themself look like idiots, call HVS names, and went insane over practically nothing. They are reminders of why they make the rest of the fanbase look bad. Now, went non-fans react to the situation two years from now, they'll probably say "Wow, the entire fanbase is a mess.". But we're, not, but the majority of the fanbase are crazy.

In case you non-fans don't believe me, look at this site and see the posts for the general and offline forum section and you'll see what I mean: http://the-grinder.webs.com/
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a good day.

@Destructoid: You should totally do an Fanboy Friday on The Grinder fanbase. That would seriously be halirious to do. BTW, I sent you an tip over doing that,. I'll be checking every Friday for that and once you mention there insanity, I will sign up to your site just because of that.Super Smash Bros. For those who don't like Nintendo and/or the Nintendo Wii, you're not going to like this.

Just a minute ago, I sent an so-called unban request to IGN. Except that it wasn't. Instead, I was going to use that to prove how much of an asshole they've been to it's fan that supports Nintendo in general. Here is the unban letter:

"Now this isn't your typical letter for an unban request. This letter is from an former member who is permanently banned from the IGN Boards. I want you to read this carefully and if you wish, delete my account, because I'm not coming back:

Congratulation, you have just made yourself into an asskisser of Microsoft and Sony. With your past few editorials article focused solely at bashing Nintendo and there products, you are losing loyal fans like me that actually enjoys the system. Tell me, why are you making all those shitty articles bashing the company that saved video games as we know it? Are you trying to burn sales of the Wii to the ground? Are you trying to get tons of views from Nintendo Wii haters and let them bitch about Nintendo every time a bashing article comes up? Do you hate having to accept casual gamers as part of the Nintendo fanbase? If it's one of those three or for similar reasons comes up, then I just want you to know this:

I have lost all respect for you. You used to be an decent site that changed the Internet gaming world as we know it. I absolutely loved your Super Smash Bros. Brawl articles and for about a couple of months, the board was great and so was your article. Now you made yourself into a shameful excuse for an professional website. You want to know why I demanded that you removed the thread "Nintendo is Lazy and You Don't Care"? It's because it attractived hundreads of Nintendo haters who went to not criticize Nintendo, but Bash and Hate on Nintendo and say that there opinions are facts. In my eyes, Nintendo isn't the lazy one, YOU are the lazy one. And in my opinion, that is pretty damn low.

The past few weeks were especially horrible when you started to make those Nintendo bashing articles. I personally hope Nintendo doesn't listen to you assholes, because for all you know, you could be interfearing with Nintendo's projects, forcing them to make delays. BTW, if you think bitching out to Nintendo is going to help any, think again. You're not making any progress whatsoever. If you really want Nintendo to listen, why not encourage your members to boycott Nintendo? Why not make an petition (Hell, that's more useful then just complaining all the time about Nintendo)? How about encourging viewers to protest in front of Nintendo's headquarters? And don't take this too seriously, because I suggest you DO NOT do this. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for articles that actually point out problems that Nintendo needs to resolve, as I have my beefs with Nintendo as well, but you are taking this way, way too far for some people to bear.

By churning out negative articles after negative articles at Nintendo, you're thinking that you'll receive more views and more members. However, continuing to do that will in fact result you in losing an pretty big chunk of the Nintendo fanbase reading your articles.

Don't think that just because you delete my account means that you can stop me in my track. As a matter of fact, this letter is just the beginning. I will make your failings more public then you've ever wished it was. I will exploit your bullshittiness in front of the whole world. I will prove how much of an ass you've been lately. And most importantly, you will be made an embarrassment on the Internet.

The amounts of views you get by supporting an horrible Nintendo community and semi-regular Nintendo-bashing articles may seems like an triumph now, but in the long-term, you will suffer the consequences of your actions. Your days of prosperity by Nintendo hate-messages by former fans will soon be over. I can count on that. We shall never meet again on IGN, but I will continue to expose me to your present in different ways. It will be ulgy.

Oh and you're behind on reviews."

I'm going to get a lot of hate from this, but I really don't care.Super Smash Bros. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855142977915849741.post-32363121376067594302009-12-04T10:09:00.001-06:002009-12-04T10:09:59.593-06:00Snow fascinate me.Just a minute ago, it was snowing. I absolutely love it when it happens. Why that? Well, I live in Texas and snow doesn't come to where I live very often, so for me, this is an special occasion. In fact, it's my 2nd favorite form of weather, next to the sun.

It also bring backs memories. The first time I saw snow was in December, 1999. I remember when I first saw snow at home in late November of 2001. It was so beautiful. I remember me and my brothers having a mini snowball fight. On December of 2002, I visited my mom in Utah near Salt Lake City, which was also a lot of fun. I remember getting my Christmas present there, going to the mountains with my mom, brother, and two sisters, and playing my Nintendo 64 there. I also remember on Easter Saturday in April, 2007 when it actually snowed a lot, which caught me and my family by surprise! Good times, good times.

Today, I went outside to ride my bike, throw a few poorly-made snowballs, and walk. It was a lot of fun. The best part? No school for today!

Of course my grandmother called me in and she hates the snow. Now I need to make that Christmas list. Then again, I'll buy my own Christmas presents instead.Super Smash Bros. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855142977915849741.post-75279812217231305882009-12-02T20:36:00.000-06:002009-12-02T20:36:24.081-06:00Could Tiger Woods reputation be ruined?A lot of you have heard that Tiger Wood was accused of having an affair with not one, but two womens, one of which admitted that he and Tiger Wood had been making out for two and a half years and had twenty sexual encounters.

Don't look at me stright in the eye and say a reputation hasn't been ruined because of incident like this before. Micheal Jackson lost his clean reputation when he was accused of raping a child in 1993. Britney Spears is the shadow of her former self. Hillary Duff and Linsey Lohan look terrible and I believe they are under the influence of drugs. Either way, all lost their good reputation by one mistake.

The same could happen to Tiger Wood. Golf used to be my favorite sport because of him. He was an fantastic golfer and won lots of tournaments, not to mention how much respect he has earned. However, with the incident that is happening, his reputation could go down the drain and it's sad having to watch that.

I'm starting to hate the real world. The economy suck, two of the companies that I remember dearly (Cartoon Network and Disney) are not nearly as good as they used to be, and now a golfer is fixing to lose a lot of respect. Expect those debts pilling up on Tiger Wood very soon.

It's not fair.Super Smash Bros. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855142977915849741.post-20969826290892866412009-11-28T14:35:00.000-06:002009-11-28T14:35:31.668-06:00Judgement Day: 2012Sorry I've been out lately, but I was having problems commenting on here. With all that said, let's get on to my rant about 2012.

“It is December 22, 2012. I am the only surviver. Two days ago, everyone was enjoying the holiday and highly anticipating Christmas, and so was I. But on December 21, 2012, the world came to an end. Series of apocalypse events occur. Tsunamis in Florida, tornado's in California, earthquakes in Colorado, typhoons in New York and more. Everyone died except for me in this country. I wonder if anyone else survived this. Because if not, it's the end of the world as we know it!”

Sound pretty stupid, doesn't it? So let me guess. On December 20, 2012, it's like an normal day but two days later, everyone dies? Wow, people really believe that the Mayans are right. 2012 is not the end of the world. Yes we're having a presidential election, yes it might be a little warmer, yes the solar system will be in a straight line, but those are just cool events and nothing else. The world will not come to an end in 2012.

Sadly, one-sixth of American actually believes of an apocalypse events on December 21, 2012 and I find that pretty stupid. There is no evidence that the world could come to an end in 2012, especially not that abruptly.

If anything, we have evidence against the end of the world in 2012. Like remember in 2000 when the world was suppose to come to an end? Apparently it didn't and we get to celebrate the millennium beginning like we wanted to. So nothing really bad happen, the only international thing that was bad is that many people felt for the lie that the world would end in 2000.

When December 22, 2012 arrives, hopefully, you people will realize how dumb you people were in believing 2012 was the end of the world.

But that's not all to this rant. There is a movie out called 2012, a movie about the so-called end of the world. I may watch it to get a little laugh about this phenomena this rumor has become. Looks entertaining, but does it support the end of the world? Yes. Does it have evidence that the world will end on December 21, 2012? Absolutely not, it's just a movie.

People may point to the Mayan calender because it ends on December 21, 2012. I will give them credit for being genius for there time, but just because they could finish the calender due to getting invaded by someone doesn't mean the world will end there.

In fact, I'll use Biblical evidences to prove my point (Anti-Christian should skip this part). We have yet to have a World War III and when it starts, it will not end until around five years later. Lots of people will die from this and there will be a treaty. Armageddon stars seven years later and the rest is future history.

According to the Bible, the world will not end in 2012. In fact, the earliest that it will end is 2022. So I have proven that the world will NOT end in 2012, regardless of the situation.

I make stupid mistake and I will admit that big time, but I have never gone as far as to believe that the world will end in 2012. And you shouldn't too, because you don't have evidence. It's nothing more then a rumor.

I'm done, have a nice day.Super Smash Bros. Could this mean more licensed games on the Virtual Console? In case you guys haven't heard, Micheal Jackson's Moonwalker is coming to the Virtual Console. Normally, licensed games have little chance of being released. However, Nintendo and Sega have finally manage to secure the right to release the game on the Virtual Console. This is proven by it's recent PEGI rating: http://www.pegi.info/en/index/global_id/505/?searchString=Michael+Jackson&agecategories=&genre=&organisations=&platforms=NVC&countries=&submit=Search

Who's bad?

This is great news for the Virtual Console in general. While it may not be the best we've seen from a licensed title (But they get a whole lot worse then this), remember, it's not from Lucasarts. Nintendo and Sega had to get through some legal issues to release the game on the Virtual Console. Now that they manage to do that, it open up oppertunity for more licensed games with licensing issues like this to come.

I believe we are likely to see more licensed titles thanks to this game. While we'll probably never see most of the licensed games from older systems anyway, this game makes all release possible.

Now that we're going to be seeing Micheal Jackson's Moonwalker, do you think we'll see anymore licensed titles? I was originally supersmashbrosfan94. However, some hacker name FuCkYoUk1rByFa9g0t5 manage to hack my account for no reasons other then for the lulz. I don't get it, I didn't deserve it and I'll tell you why.

As some of you might recall, I am a Nintendo fan. Yes of course. While using the channel, I used to defend Nintendo left and right. I even joined a group against Nintendo trolls, a group againts trolls, and created a group against wiisuckslol (For those who don't know, he's an extremely obnxious Nintendo hater). While in a group against Nintendo trolls, FuCkYoUk1rByFa9g0t5 linked to a site supposedly teaching you how to hack someone else account. I thought "Yes. I will finally get my revenge on Nintendo trolls." That never came to be. Whenever I logged on to that phising channel, I was letting myself getting hacked.

Yesterday, I checked on my Youtube account and it was dready and depressing. Don't believe me? Here my channel: www.youtube.com/user/supersmashbrosfan94

My account has been hacked! Everything was gone, except for the comments and basic informations. I felt horrible. But I was also severely pissed off at him for hacking my channel.

I had to create an entirely new account, which is marioluigi1983. Here is the link: www.youtube.com/user/marioluigi1983

Right now, I'm trying to bring myself up from this. However, I have changed. My main focus is no longer on Nintendo trolls, it's now against hackers. I want you guys to know that where he lies: www.youtube.com/user/FuCkYoUk1rByFa9g0t5

It's right here. And on his channel description is the list of people he's hacked. Please report him and block so we can suspend him. Better yet, the account need to be deleted. Youtube is not doing well with hackers and I will explain more on my upcoming rant on Youtube and hackers and the problem they cause.

So guys, we need to do something about hackers. The first part and launch went well, but starting in 4th period, things started to go off track. First off, we were going to the computer lab to take a Spanish quiz! I have not prepared for it, nor expected it, so I was screwed. I only got a 56 on my quiz, now that's going to drop my average.

5th period was better, but my power point would not be accepted since my teacher could not download OpenOffice.org. I basically went through the day pretending that nobody was presenting there power point and instead, stuck my nose on my November, 2009 Game Informer issue. 6th period was good, except that I couldn't finish my math test.

But the last period of the day started badly too. My teacher gave me permission to call my grandmother in the attendance office, however, according to the bell, I was late and the attendance office gave me my first ever tardy. I was furious. What did I do to deserve getting a tardy? I had permission to call my grandmother! Luckily, my teacher understand the situation, so she let me use her iPhone to call my grandmother. The rest of the period went well.

After 7th period, I needed to go to Math tutorials, and thank god I did, because my teacher won't be here this upcoming Monday. After finishing what few question I didn't get done during class, I remained to do a sketch of my science project and read Game Informer. Then I went home.Super Smash Bros. I decided to see what books were available for Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. First I checked Microsoft. They had a book on them and a few books on Bill Gates. Next I checked Sony. They had a book to themself and one book to their founder.

But what about Nintendo? Sadly, I found nothing. That's right, nothing.

I don't get it. It's not like gamers are harping to put gaming on text book, why shouldn't they put it up on the library? Nintendo has a wealth of history behind there backs, I don't see why they aren't in the library. It's like if non-gamers hate Nintendo for making only video games. Maybe it's because of Game Over: How Nintendo Has Manage To Enslaved Your Childerns. If that's the case, then I call bull. Nintendo didn't force your child to play, they choose on doing so. They don't force your childern to play the latest Mario, Zelda, Metroid. And they certantly aren't as greedy as Activision.

This applies to everything to gaming. The only thing they have about gaming that is even remotely related is some book about how violence is cause by gaming, which I think is stupid.

I'm not demanding to put entertainment in our history books, but if it can't exist in school libraries, then it proves that non-gamers just might be bias to gaming as a whole. They have TV, music, radio, etc. So why not video games too?Super Smash Bros. Cartoon Network, used to be one of our most cherish memories of the 1990's (Along with Nintendo and Disney) in entertainments have turn into utter shit. I see nothing good in their eye's. All I see is a selfish, greedy, and stupid executives who doesn't care about there main audiences. They are a disgrace to the old Cartoon Network. And worst of all, we might not be able to get them to change. And so because of this, this new entry into my blog is a rant on Cartoon Network. We will unveil each and every one of their terrible decisions that has force them to pay for what they have done. But before we start complaining about Cartoon Network, let's go back to the old days when actually cared about there fanbase, the kids.

Cartoon Network used to be the best destination for cartoons. They had what we all loved. They manage to revive old shows. Some of the best shows included Tom & Jerry, The Flintstones, and Scooby Doo! Where Are You? Now the first generation of Cartoon Network audiences could be able to enjoy some of the great old shows that we previously weren't able to see. They had met success in views and quality. They could have just shown older shows and they would still be amazing. However, the new company took it a step further to make sure their fans were satisfied.

We were introduced to some of the best cartoons early in the channel lifespan. Not to mention they were all original and something we wouldn't have expected. Dexter Labortory, Cow & Chicken, Johnny Bravo, and The Powerful Girls. All these shows were amazing and and made them so popular. That's just the best four, they had many other great shows out there like Ed, Edd'n, Eddy.

The best part of Cartoon Network was Toonami. It had some of the best action shows during it's time. I mean, they also introduced Superfriends to the new audiences, which were the first generation. They also had more original shows that we could actually enjoy. But the main thing that sealed the deal with anime. That's right, Japanese shows. They were the best shows we've ever seen. Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Salior Moon, etc, etc, etc. Toonami litterally launch Cartoon Network into the sky and made them so popular, they must have been even more well known then Nintendo during the NES/SNES days.

Adult Swim, while wasn't my favorite channel and was risky, was an excellent decision. If you didn't want cartoons that you felt was dumb-downed, you could always make do with adult shows. This channel was very good back in the old days and claimed many teens/adult fans.

So with all this, it was wonderful days for fans. We had some of the best shows during the 1990's and early 2000's. There was a wide variety of shows for us to enjoy, so everyone could enjoy something. We never thought Cartoon Network could be the crap that it is today.

Sadly, all good things must go away, and nowhere was this more prevailent then Cartoon Network. In fact, it's way too obvious now that they suck. But let's explain their downhill.

Personally, I think Cartoon Network downhill started when they started to take off some of their best creations without warning and in some cases, shortly after they ended. That's when Cartoon Network start to dive in popularity, because they didn't realize that just because a show has ended doesn't mean it has to be immediately taken off! That was the beginning of there downhill and nobody, not even me, noticed it.

There replacement were not as good. It was great at first, with Grim Adventure of Billy And Mandy and Codename: Kids Next Door as part of the first generation, but from their, Cartoon Network shows got inevitably worse and worse. This generation of shows is piss poor and that's an indication of Cartoon Network neglecting it's fans of the current generation. Here is the report card for each show:

Chowder: Okay, but the concept is not very good, therefore, unfunny.

The Misadventure of Flapjack: It's so-so. It looks fun at first, but lacks humor and poor art direction.

Geogre Of The Jungle: It sucks, I cannot watch more then one episode. Geogre looks like an idiot and very unoriginal. The voice acting is poor, stale at best, and I hate the art direction.

6Teen: OMG, this is horrible. Character model is sickening to watch, the art direction is horrible, no humor, and it doesn't even target children for god sake!

That's just samples. It seems like the only good show left in Cartoon Network is Total Drama Island, and that doesn't even target children!

Also, the shows that would be good on Cartoon Network are being shoved out of the door. The biggest example is Digimon. I loved the show as a child and is one of my ten favorite animated shows of all time. I was so excited that they were planning on showing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd season on January of 2008. I got hyped by watching the show of Jetix, imaging how well it'll fit on Cartoon Network. But when it was suppose to air, it didn't. I didn't getting it, the show never aired on Cartoon Network. Why that? Did Cartoon Network reject the show? I was so pissed off at Cartoon Network for this and anyone else who've heard of this would be too. Now the show is no longer on television, and that's sad. Cartoon Network could have given it a last place to prosper and to be enjoyed by this generation of fans. This is why I hate good shows that are rejected.

Also, the blocks that they have on Cartoon Network are miserable excuses. None of the blocks interest me now. The worst is thankfully gone, but it was horrible. It was Fried Dynamite. I could not bring myself to see it. I can tell they made nothing out of it. Everyone hated it, so thank god they took it off.

But this, this is the reason why I'm boycotting the channel, this is why I lost interest in television, it's something so bad, it nearly made me cry.

On November 30, 2008, when I was searching through Youtube for videos, I came across a video saying that Toonami was cancelled. And sadly, this was true. I couldn't believe it. Cartoon Network actually cancelled Toonami without warning. I was devastated. How could Cartoon Network do this to there fans? It was our last resort for solid shows on Cartoon Network and it was all gone.

I was so furious at Cartoon Network, that I decided from that day, I would boycott the channel. They have turned against there fanbase so much, that it's unbelievable. No channel, as bad as they might be, have done this to there fans. But Cartoon Network did and it's terrible. How could they reject all fans in one bad decision? They figured it out and now they are paying for it.

But the rant isn't all over, oh no it isn't. They are bringing and making live action shows to Cartoon Network! What are they thinking? This is not the place for live-action shows. Cartoon Network is for cartoons only! They must be on crack to be doing this. Not to mention it is critically hated. Not just by the first generation, but kids also. Cartoon Network, that's telling you something.

You have forgotten what got you here today. Your first generation of fans are furious at your lazy execution, the kids are furious because they are being denided cartoon shows by you. You know what? We had it with you! We are not putting with your bullshit anymore! You have destoryed your fanbase. You shall pay for what you have done and I wouldn't care if you died now.

What's even sadder is that two of my other childhood company, Nintendo and Disney, still at least remotely care about there fanbase. Nintendo has always followed the "gameplay over graphic" and "quality over quanity" stragedy wonderfully and have remain my favorite company to this day. Nintendo still care about us, even if most of it's long-time fans don't see it. Disney is making some serious re-bound this time around. They are making the promising Epic Mickey in, they have a popular channel where they listen to what there fans want, they are making 2-D movies again, plus they are airing Naruto Shippuden, something that should have been in Cartoon Network! But Cartoon Network keeps getting worse and worse daily and it's mentally painful to have to watch it all happen.

However, not all hope is lost. We can actually do something. To all the people who want the quality of there old shows, let's boycott the channel in it's entirity. Let's encourage other people to boycott Cartoon Network. Let them know that we are not putting up with there crap. Therefore, maybe they'll finally listen to us.

I'm done, have a good day and remember this rant.
Super Smash Bros. This time, on which game should I review?Hello there. You may have notice that I've set up another poll. Well, this time, it's on reviews. I'm trying to decide on which game I should review next. But I decide on something. How about the people decide instead? They can voice there own opinion on which game I should review. That's right, you get to choose which game I should review. You also get mutiple choices. You have until October 24, 2009 at 1: 02 PM to vote.

When the choices tally up, the game with the most vote will be the game I will be reviewing. When the game is choosen, I will be dedicated to making a review of that particular game, therefore, you shall get the best and most detailed review possible.

If there are no votes, I will make another poll or update the old one until we get our final score. That means anyone can vote.

If their is a tie, I will make another poll to see which games I should review out of the games that received the most vote. This time, you only get one choice, so vote wisely.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you vote. BTW, you can tell on here what game you voted for.Super Smash Bros. No it isn't. In fact, I really enjoy going to school. It's important, you can socialize with other people, and of course, learn. However. their is one thing I don't like about school:

The periods in my school are too short. Fifty minutes? Now this is an odd thing to complain about, but why I complain about it could be legiment.

Today in fifth period, I was working my butt off the entire period to finish my assignment. Sadly, I could not get even half of the assignment done. This is coming from an A-B honor roll student who does his very best in school and looks to exceed himself. I did not goof around, I followed the rules, I was working the entire period and I still couldn't complete half of the assignment. Now my grade on that assignment is going down the drain.

So schools who does just have fifty minutes in a school period, here is my suggestion. Increase the limit to one hour per period. Therefore, the students have more oppertunity to get a worksheet, quiz, test, etc. done. Most people will object to this, but in the end, it could benefit the students and the school as a whole.Super Smash Bros. There are two video game franchise that needs to go away, because they are getting old and it doesn't look like these two companies aren't doing anything to fix that. So without further ado, here are two series that have not aged well with it's fans and needs to go away:

1. Pokemon: Pokemon was a great series back in the day. However, most of the fans, myself included grown old of the series. Unlike Mario, Zelda, Metroid, or many other franchise, the Pokemon franchise, while good in the main series, have not aged well with it's first generation fans. While the first three generations were great games, by Pokemon RedFire/GreenLeaf, the franchise started to get old. Why? It's way too similar to it's predeccesors, the only major upgrade with Pokemon Diamond/Peral/Platinum is better graphics, more Pokemon, and online.

Also, Nintendo has not treated their console litterations well. The latest installment, Pokemon Battle Revolution was not received well with the critics and Poke Park Wii: Pikachu's Big Adventure, supposedly coming this December, looks like it'll be medicoric, if not suck. And worst of all, Pokemon is still a huge franchise, so even that game will sell like hotcakes.

Unless Nintendo/Game Freak get off their ass and make a full Pokemon console RPG and make it great, or it's time to put the franchise to sleep (Or at least give it a long break). They should put in more focus for franchise Nintendo fans want more. Examples are Kid Icarus, Star Fox, F-zero, and Kirby. Now having one of those games on the Wii as Triple-A games would be awesome.

2. Halo: Now this franchise is seriously overrated. Even as a Wii-only owner, I've played enough Halo and gather enough information to say that Halo should be killed off after Halo: Reach.

But why that? The excellent Halo trilogy is over, it's time to let the franchise go. It had a great run, but it can't last forever. Also, the series (Except for Halo: Wars) is rated M. It may be popular now, but it will lose steam, just like most other M rated franchise. Sure, you could argue that the God Of War franchise is rated M, but there's a difference. Sony is doing the right thing by putting the franchise to end, because they know that doing more then a trilogy will eventually hurt them. Also, you'll wonder why Mario never had this problem that Halo is going to face/already facing. Mario has always been a flexible franchise. Mario is a platformer franchise, therefore, Nintendo can explore many possibilites. As long Nintendo doesn't run out of ideas, Mario will always be Nintendo flagship franchise. When they realize that Mario is starting to dip in quality, they'll either give him a major shake-up to bring him back or if they can't do anything, end it and choose another franchise to work with.

But Halo doesn't get the same benefit as Mario or most Nintendo franchise in general (Except Pokemon). Why? First off, it's an First Person Shooter! Trying to do an on-going franchise that is FPS is not a good idea, so they will eventually start to see an decline in quality. In fact, Halo is starting to follow the same footstep as most on-going FPS's. The trilogy were all universally acclaimed and as a result, are consider Xbox and Xbox 360's showcase titles. However, Halo Wars and Halo: ODST, reviews are not of Triple-A caliber. Sure it's positive, but 80's in scores means that Microsoft has only produced a temporarily series that can only hold them on for so long.

If they want to avoid losing what positive reputation they have left with their customers, it would be a very good idea to put the franchise to rest for a long time. Then they can bring it back up when they have fresh new ideas for the series. In the meanwhile, they should focus on making a more stable flagship franchise.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you look forward to more of my blog posts.Super Smash Bros. While it is the first, it is also my latest purchase for the Wii. I had fond memories of the game when I was very young, but I never owned the game myself. Now that I do, is Yoshi's Story worth the 1,000 Wii Points Nintendo force you to cough up for each and every non-import Nintendo 64 games currently available?

History: Yoshi originally appeared in the universally acclaimed Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, which is in fact a launch title. In that game, Mario (Or Luigi, depending on who you choose), Yoshi comes out in an egg and you had the option on riding on him. In order for him to be able to eat most enemies, fruits, and even power-ups, you punch him in the neck and his long tounge so he would be able to eat plants. Yoshi's commonly appear on the game, in fact, with the exception of the first level, ghost houses, block switch levles and castles, he appears in nearly every level. This game was universally acclaimed, scoring a 96.75% at Game Ranking and going on to sell 20 million copies. It also made Yoshi the icon that he is today, spawning off a Mario spin-off that remains successful to this day. The game appeared on the North American Virtual Console on February 5, 2007.

The first of the Yoshi's spin-off series is called Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, also on the SNES. The game was released on October 4, 1995 in North America. Althought it featured Super Mario World and Mario was in the game, he appears as an helpless infant. In the game, the character you play as is Yoshi. Also, the gameplay is drasticilly different from it's predeccesor, as it is not in the main canon. Also, while games were starting to be more about how good the game can look, this game takes a different apporach. Why not let art direction determind how the game appealed to it's fans? The gamble payed off graphically, with critics, and in sales, selling four million copies during it's short lifespan

and has an fantastic 94% at Game Ranking.

That part was probably boring as ****, let's get to the review.

Story: In the Yoshi's World, their do exist a Super Happy Tree. Yoshi's are always happy to be around them, because it brings joy to their lives. Unfortunately, Baby Bowser does not like this and as a result, he steals the Super Happy Tree and turns the world into a storybook! As a result, the Yoshi's are sad. However, six baby Yoshi's hatch out of their eggs. Colors are red, blue, yellow, light blue, pink, and of course, green! When they realize that the Yoshi's are sad and that the Super Happy Tree is gone, the six baby Yoshi's get together and make a cunning plan. Remain happy and bring back the Super Happy Tree from Baby Bowser. The baby Yoshi's get together and goes to Baby Bowser's Castle to reclaim the Super Happy Trees.

Controls: I will be doing this for every reviews, even on the Virtual Console, since not everyone reads the manuals. Now the controls.
I'll be using the Classic Controller for this section (Since I do not have a Gamecube controller anymore). First off, to move left and right, move the analog stick left to move left and right to move right. Hold the analog stick left or right to run. To jump, press the A button. Hold the A button to jump higher. Press down on the analog stick to crouch. In order to make Yoshi look up, move the analog stick up. Yoshi can move while he's crouching and looking up, but you have to
gently move the analog stick up to move while looking up and down to move while crouching. While in mid-air, press the A button to perform a Flutter Jump. This can be help while moving the analog stick up while pressing A in mid-air. While in mid-air, you can also move the analog stick down to do a ground-pound. Move the D-pad up and down to move the fruit frame closer together or further away, depending on your preferences. You can move your screen closer to Yoshi by pressing and holding the R button down. When you're doing that, Yoshi will be smelling things. While holding the R button, move left or right with the analog stick to move. You can press the ZL and ZR button to make the fruit frame disappear or come back. To stick out your tounge to eat a fruit, enemy, etc, press the B button. You can stick out your tounge upward,
diagonally, or even down. Press the X or Y button to get one of your eggs to throw. But hold on to the X or Y button, because you are able to choose where you want to aim the egg. If you were considering throwing the egg, but decided not to, press the B button to cancel throwing the egg. Press the Analog Stick up to enter a door and down to enter a pipe/vase. Press the Start button to pause the game (Or in Practice Mode), to take you back to the main menu. Other then the Practice Mode, you can choose to quit the level by pressing both Start and Z button (According the the Nintendo 64 version).

Gameplay: You play as one of six Yoshi's. Before picking your Yoshi's, you get to see which one of the four fruits (Watermelons, apple, grapes, and banana) will be one of your Lucky Fruits for the game. Before starting a level, you can pick one of six kinds. Green, Red, Blue, Yellow (Looks Orange to me), Light Blue, and Pink. Under certain circumstances, you can unlock White and Black Yoshi's (Something I have yet to do). Anyway, while choosing your Yoshi's, the characters that you're considering stays in the same areas waving to you in both hands. The others are just moving around. The Yoshi's that you choose is the Yoshi's you'll play with until you either complete the level or die.

In a level screen, the left-right corner of the screen is a face. Around it is petels, which are health for Yoshi's, which in turn, depending on the health, determinds the face mood. If all eight petels are alive and well, the face will be smiling. If their are no petels and Yoshi is fixing to die, the face turns sad. It'll be even sadder if you lose a Yoshi. When you have some, not all of the petels, the face mood is mixed. On the outer edge of the screen is the fruit frame. You can keep track of how many fruits you've eaten throughout the course of the levels with the fruit frame. The rest is the gameplay screen. When you pause the game, it'll reveil the number of Special Hearts you've collected, your current score for the level, your favorite fruit, your Lucky Fruits, and during Story Mode and Trial Mode, you can even quit the level if you wish.

You're goal in the game is to eat thirty Fruits in the game. To do that, just eat any fruits that comes into your sight. Their are five kinds of fruits. Watermelons, Banana, Apple, Grapes, and Melons. Yoshi will eat any kind, but depending on colors, they will pick favorites. For example, Green Yoshi's favor watermelons, while Red Yoshi prefers apples. Their favor colors depend on the skin of their color. Back to the gameplay, the fruits will retreive health for them that they lost. You can completely regain your health with Lucky Fruits, and partially with other fruits (Even Melons). Yoshi's mood is determind by the fruits he eat and how much petels is left on the face on the top-left corner. If all the petels are alive and well, Yoshi will be happily marching and humming. But the less petels the Yoshi has, the worse his mood is. Not grumpy or sad or something like that, but he'll get tired allright. Yoshi can ground-pound the floor to find hidden stuff in the level, like for example, melons and coins. Yoshi can collect coins, special hearts, and of course fruits. Coins are something you can collect that will be important to your score. Ground-pounding can There are tons of enemies in the game, the most common being the Shy-Guys. The Shy-Guys comes in the colors of the Yoshi's you play as and even black (Eating Black Shy-Guys is not recommend, as it will drain Yoshi's health). However, other Shy-Guys, depending if they match the color of your Yoshi, can actually increase health depending on your skin color and their skin color (They have to match). If you want the color of the Shy-Guy to match, ground-pound near him (But not on him) to change his color to your color. You can collect up to six eggs. Please look at the image above, at your right is an Yoshi egg-like square. Hit the bottom of the block to bring out eggs until you have about six eggs. You can use the eggs to aim at enimies, break open bubbles, and even break blue rocks! You can also use them for mini-bosses and mid-game bosses (There are only two in the entire game). When throwing an egg, you can change the distance at where you want to throw it. When it reach that destination, it will explode, thus providing no more usefullness. Jumping on an Message Block can give you advice on what's going on and what you need to know so when you find one of the Message Blocks, hit it for useful informations. White Shy-Guys are very helpful. If you beat the game with him and he's still following you, if you've lost a Yoshi, you can bring him back, so you can play as that particular Yoshi again. Ground-pounding on an blue/yellow ? block can brings coins and melons, so take advantage of that oppertunity every time you come near by one. You can also move it around to get to other places. You can become Suppy Happy by eating one of the Heart Fruits, which you can get by eating the same kind of fruits mutiple times in a row. When you're Super Happy, you're invincible, and when you ground-pound near a Shy-Guy, you can turn him into a Lucky Fruit, making the game easier. However, it only last for a short time, so take advantage of the limited time to eat as much fruit as possible. And before I forget, he has an endless amount of eggs during that time.

Sometime, their will be some kind of mini-challenge in the game. The two I know of is where you carry the melons to the end without dropping it and how fast can you finish a race to the other sides. Depending on if you complete the challenge and if so, when or with how many is the number of melons you'll earn (Up to seven).

You can get hit by enemies. If that continues, you'll lose a life, You can lose a life from falling into a pit or object that can kill you. If you lose all six Yoshi's, it's Game Over. Strangely, you don't get a second chance, you have to restart the entire game. No but's, if's, and why's.

When you finish a level, you'll go to the scoreboard who determind your score base on how many Hearts and coins you collected, how many Yoshi's remain, and how many fruits and melons you've eaten. They add up to the total score in the Story Mode and it becomes your high score.

There are two bosses in the game, one during Pg. 3 and one during the last page.

Features: There are four modes in the game. Story Mode, Trial Mode, Option, and Practice.

Practice is basicilly tutorial for the game, in case how I explained it confused you. I highly recommend taking this mode first to understand the control, unless you already have played the game and understand it fully.

The Option Mode is where you can adjust the Audio to Stereo, Mono, and Headphone. You can also change the language from English to Japanese and vice versa. Also, you can even erase your memories (Althought it's not recommended). When you're done with the Option Mode, you can exit.
Now the Story Mode. It follow the plot way back in the Story section of the review and goes with it. There are twenty-four levels in the game, six of which you will be playing (Quite litterally, you don't even get to play more levels!). The setting is different on each page of the storybook. Now if you haven't died yet and want to finish tommrow, you can. Also, the Special Hearts that you collect, you can find up to three in each stage. The more you get, the more levels that open up to you in the next world (Or page). It also tell parts of the story after you beat each level. At the end of the game, they tally up your score of all six pages, that you view at the very end.

The last mode that we're discussing is the Trial Mode. The Trial Mode is where you can replay previously beaten levels. Gameplay wise, it follow the same rules as the Story Book, but it's defindently a departure from the story, as the Special Hearts are only their for scoring purposes. When you beat the level, it tallys up your score for the game, but not the time. I think it's a weird decision that they only did scores and not time also. But oh well.

I know this has take forever, but opinion is the beginning of the end for the review.

Visuals: It is gorgeous. From beginning to end, everything looks like it was made for the Nintendo Gamecube! I'm dead serious, this would look fine on the console. Yes it's 2.5D, but still, it looks amazing! Nintendo really outdid themself in this category. Great art direction strikes again! 10/10!

Sound: The digital voices by Yoshi's are solid, and I think they're better then the original. Each Yoshi's have a different tone to their voice, depending on the color. In other areas, they are also well executed. However, it shouldn't have rip-off some sound from past Mario titles. 9/10.

Music: Sadly, the music does not live up to the high Nintendo expectation. I was very disappointed by the soundtrack. Why? Their are way too many remixes in the same game! Not to mention most of them from meh to flat-out suck (The two rapping songs are especially bad). Sure there are a few good soundtrack here and their, but it's a huge letdown. But what killed it for me is the horrible Yoshi's singing voice. Sure their normal acting is soild, but it could have been great had it not been for them singing so badly. I mute the TV every time now when the Yoshi's are singing, it's that bad. I'm actually surpraised that my ears aren't bleeding now. Even the current cast for Sonic the Hedgehog wasn't this bad. I was thinking on 4/10, but the nearly-ear bleeding Yoshi's singing drags this to 3/10.

Bad: My first complaint is the difficulty. It's way too easy. I beat the game in five days, two of which when I didn't even pick up this game! Another complaint is that the game is way too short. As a kids game, I don't expect it to force us to run throught all twenty-four levels, but just six not even nearly enough. We should be require to play twelve levels minimal with the option. I was also disappointed with the lack of bosses. We should have gotten one boss per world, but instead, we only have two in the entire game. Also, the two bosses you fight (There are different bosses that you fight in page 3, but it depends on the level you choose) are disappointing. Almost as soon as you fight them, you find their weakness, which makes them practically an normal enemy powered up who you fight at the end. Yes, this includes the final boss.

Good: As easy as the game is, it does have some good things going on it. The first thing that I would like to note is that the gameplay is fantastic. Their are tons of variety in the game, it seems that for every level, you see something new, something interesting. Also, it's something that you can replay over an over again. The replay value is great and you'll stock up many hours on this game. Also, despite being increabily easy, their is a lot going on.

Conclusion: This game is not for everyone. I wouldn't recommend this game unless you had noglista of this game or a newcomer to the gaming world. Even then to the long-time gamers with noglista of this game, beware of the increabily easy difficulty. You will get throught this in under a week and you will realize the game is not as good as you remember it to be. For every else, unless you're absolutely dying to play this game, skip this game. For the people who really need to play this game, just buy an Nintendo 64, find a friend who has the game and borrow it for a day or so. I will tell you again, unless you are a newcomer, have noglista of this game, or absolutely suck at gaming, buying this game will be a big mistake and a waste of 1,000 Wii Points.

Final Score: 55/100.

Edit: I'm actually quite surprise that I like the game, despite the realitively low score. I need to re-review the game.
Super Smash Bros. I would like to announce that I will be doing a series of reviews on videos games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, DSiWare, WiiWare, Virtual Console, and of course, the Nintendo Wii. The series of review will be called Gaming World Reviews.

The very first review that I will be doing is Yoshi's Story for the Nintendo 64/Virtual Console.

With each review, I will go into full details about the controls, gaming, graphics, sound effects, and music, plus pointing out the good and the bad of each game.

Here is how each review will work. I give you the basic information and and discuss if the game is indeed worth it.

Next up is where we go back into the past with games with the said main character of the game until we get to the current installment of the said franchise. After that, we go into the controls, the gameplay, and then the features. After that, I will give out my opinion on the graphics, sound, and music of the game. Depending on how well each section is executed, I award from 0 to 10 points, no decimal included. Games without true voice acting but has voices will be in the sound/music section. If they have considerable amount of real voice acting however, they will be put in their own individual categories. After that, I discuss the flaws of the game and then talk about the positive, the things that are actually good aspects of the game. In the end, I go to my conclusion and award the score that each game deserves. The scores can be anywhere from 0 to 100, with decimal to the tenth if necessary.

On top of that, depending if I'm able to, I'll put in pictures for the reviews.

In case you don't understand my scoring system, here it is:

0-9.9 (Worst of the Worst): These games are so bad, that they make you want to rip your eyes off, and stab yourself in the back. I'm dead serious (Big Rig: Over the Road for the PC).

10-19.9 (Absymal): Complete garbage, if anyone recommend this, they are idiots (Ninjabread Man for the Nintendo Wii (Worldwide)/Playstation 2 (In Europe).

20-29.9 (Terrible): Their is probably just a couple good things about this game. Not even a die hard fan of the series should play this garbage (Leisure Suit Larry for the PC/Playstation 3/Xbox 360).

30-39.9 (Poor): Barely anything can be redeemable, unless you religously worship that series (Which would be creepy and even then, only a one-time rental), stay clear of this poorly execute product (Bomberman: Act Zero for the Xbox 360).

40-49.9 (Bad): While a few things might work out, the majority of the game is so malfunction, it brings down the game as a whole. Avoid this at all cost unless you absolutely must play this, and even then, only a rental to prove my point that this game sucks (Sonic The Hedgehog for the Playstation 3/Xbox 360).

50-54.9 (So-So): Sure to disappoint anyone, even die-hard fans, it has a few things going for it, but sadly, the fun doesn't last. I stress to you not to buy this, rental at the very best (Baroque for the Nintendo Wii).

55-59.9 (Medicoric): A minority will actually enjoy this game, but most should avoid it anyway. Buying is highly not recommend and you must be catious with renting it (Carnival Games for the Nintendo Wii).

60-67.4 (Okay): It can be fun at some points and if you're that crazy, a buy. I may even recommend a rental if it's short. But it has it's fair share of issues, so I can't recommend a buy, althought if you really want it, it doesn't bother me (Saw for the Xbox 360/Playstation 3).

67.5-72.4 (Decent): It has some effort put into it, so you might enjoy it. However, some issues do keep it from being easily recommended, so if you're buying it, take percatious. Personally, I would wait for a price drop (Sonic & The Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii).

72.5-75.4 (Good): This can be a very enjoyable game if you're really interests in this game, I can recommend getting it. But it is not perfect, as it does suffer from some issues, so others may want to rent this first (Dr. Mario Online RX for WiiWare).

75.5-82.4 (Solid): Not everyone will be a fan of this particular game, as their are a few issues to deal with, but for people who do play it, it offers a lot of fun and recommended to most people (Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Nintendo Wii).

82.5-84.9 (Very Good): Sure their are a few problems, but with the many great things going for it, I would suggest trying it out. At least give it a rent (WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Nintendo Wii).

85-89.9 (Great): Most people should go out and buy this particular game and everyone should ahve least give it a try. Very few issues with the game and lots of great things about it, you should enjoy the game (Guitar Hero V for the Nintendo Wii/Playstation 3/Xbox 360).

90-94.9 (Excellent): These games are defindently are better then it's piers, most people would be crazy not to try this particular game (World of Goo for WiiWare).

95-99.9 (Outstanding): Almost no issues with the games, these elite games are begging to be bought. Do not miss out on these game, you will not regret purchasing it (The Legend of Zelda: Twlight Princess for the Nintendo Gamecube/Wii).

10 (Perfect): These games (If any) define what perfection is. The game is completely flawless, it's everything that we want out of that particular game. Their are no reasons to miss out, this game defines the gaming industry and the showcase of the video game history.

Look forward to my reviews and I hope you enjoy them.Super Smash Bros. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7855142977915849741.post-64935155469038767612009-10-10T12:12:00.002-05:002009-10-10T12:14:01.027-05:00An interestng theory about the gaming world.I have been thinking about this for awhile. It's an interesting theory that I want to show you. It's about gaming.

No, I'm not going to predict if the gaming industry could turn out like this or that, but instead, I think gamers are from many different species. Weird yes, but you might enjoy it.

Let's face it. No matter how we view humans in the real world, we are always humans and no other species. That's a fact. However, let's take that view into a gaming perspective and you'll discover that there are tons of species out there. I'll go into details now:

First off, there are three main divisions, the non-gamers (People who don't play video games), the casual/new gamers, and the hardcore/long-time gamers. Non-gamers are one species, because they don't play video games, so I don't have to go into that detail. So are casual and new gamers, however, humans can be gaming for a long time, yet barely play video games, and still be a casual gamer. You can be new to gaming, yet play video games regularly and still be consider a new gamer. Casual/new gamers are just one species, yet they are two subspecies.
The want I really want to talk about is the long-time/hardcore gamers. There is lots to discuss here, so please pay attention:

Unlike the non-gamers and new/casual gamers, the long-time/hardcore gamers have many species and like new/casual gamers, most of the species have subspecies. Also, you can be part of more then one species. You may also choose to join a species or leave a species. Let's say I'm tired of Nintendo and want nothing else to deal with them. I would be leaving the Nintendo species. And let's say I want to join the Sony species. I would be joining them. That's an example of joining and leaving a species. However, you do not have to leave a species to join a species, nor do you have to join a species if you leave the species.

A gaming species, like in real life, can go extinct for two reasons:

1. If the company that make games goes out of business or leave the gaming scene.
2. If there are no more fans of that particular company/franchise.

If the #1 incident happen, you can no longer rejoin the species. However, if #2 happens, you can revive that particular species by becoming a fan of that company/franchise. Unlike in real life, gaming species are possible to revive. Think of the gaming species as to language, because
extinct language can be revived (Example is Cornish).

On top of that, unlike in real life, different gaming species are able to make intellectual arguments between each other and not just kill each other. They are humans of course. Only humans can be part of the gaming world, so other animals such as monkeys and elephants are
not part of the gaming world.

Please remember what I said in the beginning of this blog post. This is just when you just take it into the gaming perspective, not real life. In reality, humans are all one species are we have to accept that as fact. Also note that this is just my opinion and not widely believe, so please, whatever you do, please don't flame me for this.

Of course you'll probably ignore the last paragraph and flame me anyway. For those who don't flame my ass off, thank you for reading and I hope you've enjoy this post.Super Smash Bros. Fanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16072822925524351486noreply@blogger.com0
